The Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems & Automation (LMS), on behalf of STREAM-0D project, was present during the INDTECH 2018 event that has been held in Vienna from the 29th to the 31st of October. A good opportunity to meet stakeholders and spread information around the project.
The conference “INDustrial TECHnologies 2018: Innovative industries for smart growth” provides a platform for stakeholders from research organizations, industry and policy making to shape and strengthen European industrial and research policy in general as well as in the fields of nanotechnology, advanced materials, production technologies and biotechnologies.
The Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems & Automation (LMS) of the University of Patras, as STREAM-0D partner, attended INDTECH with a booth: in addition to promoting LMS’ activity and initiatives, the presence has been useful in order to meet stakeholders and introduce them to STREAM-0D and to the specific activity that LMS is carrying out.
In STREAM-0D, LMS leads in fact the activity of online data gathering and data driven models, with a strong contribution in the development and implementation of adaptive data control and decision making algorithms, and in the final integration and pilot implementation.
INDTECH 2018 featured also conference sessions: these have been important to discuss future trends and developments within Key Enabling Technologies and reshape the research and innovation system to strengthen production in Europe.
