STREAM-0D’s ‘extrusion line/profil model for predicting profile accuracy’ application has been mentioned by the European Commission’s Innovation Radar for its market potential.

The Innovation Radar is a EC’s initiative to identify high potential innovations and innovators in EU-funded research and innovation framework programmes. The initiative represents the European Commission’s data-driven method focused on the identification of high potential innovations and the key innovators behind them in EU-funded Research and Innovation projects.

The Innovation Radar is based on a methodology developed by the Joint Research Centre. The data gathered by this method is used to categorize EU-funded innovations in terms of market maturity and disruptive potential, based on indicator systems developed by the Joint Research Centre.

Within the ‘Market maturity’ indicator of the Innovation Radar, STREAM-0D’s application has been identified as ‘Tech Ready’, which means that the innovation is progressing on the technology development process. The result was based on Innovation Radar’s analysis on data collected on 19/04/2019. In this context, ITAINNOVA, ECN and Standard Profil have been recognized as key innovators.
