Detailed simulations alone are not sufficient to create an effective process control: in order to obtain really accurate prediction models of the production process running in real-time, ROMs must be fed also with offline real data coming from the plant.
To operate in real-time, complex simulation models such the ones implemented in STREAM-0D need to cut down computational times while saving the reliability of information. This is where the notion of ‘sparsity’ comes into play.
Last 15th of November, Fersa Bearings participated, in Zaragoza, to a session dedicated to the optimization of industrial processes. A good opportunity to spread awareness around end-users’ implementation of the STREAM-0D approach.
