STREAM-0D attended two events during the month of May
It has been quite an active month for the project: partners showcased STREAM-0D during EFFRA’s Factory of the Future Community Days and the SPS IPC Drives Italia exhibition.
The month of May gave the opportunity to partners to showcase STREAM-0D project at various levels: in terms of awareness and presentation of results and in terms of dissemination and business-related strategies.
EFFRA Community Days
ITAINNOVA, project coordinator of STREAM-0D, attended the EFFRA Factories of the Future Community Days in Brussels, that have been held from the 22nd to the 23rd of May. The two-day event included brokerage sessions for the upcoming FoF 2020 calls in the morning of 22 May and was followed in the afternoon of 22 May and 23 May by parallel sessions focussing on the project results, demonstrators and their impact, covering a broad spectrum of technologies and applications.
On the 23rd, STREAM-0D participated to the ‘Zero-Defect Manufacturing’ session, that featured contributions by several EU projects involved in topics such as Zero-defect strategies at system level for multi-stage manufacturing in production lines and in-line measurement and control for micro-/nano-enabled high-volume manufacturing for enhanced reliability. ITAINNOVA took advantage of its speaker slot to introduce STREAM-0D and the latest advancements in the project.
Other than STREAM-0D, the involved ZDM projects were: ZAero, GO0DMAN, Z-Fact0r, ForZDM, CITCOM, ZDMP and QU4LITY.
SPS IPC Drive Italia
On the 28th, project partner Day One attended the 9th edition of the SPS IPC Drives Italia exhibition in Parma, Italy. SPS Italia is a leading trade show for the industrial automation and digitalisation in Italy. It involves all players of the supply chain: OEMs, end-users, distributors, system integrators, specialist press and universities.
With regards to system integrators, the exhibition was a good opportunity to showcase STREAM-0D, its goals and results, and to acquire valuable a valuable feedback in terms of market potential and development. Dissemination activities have been also carried out: these might turn into publications in the next few months.
