STREAM-0D ZDM event Poland

Due to recent Coronavirus outbreak in Europe, and in accordance with the guidelines emanated by several countries in order to contain the spread of the virus, the event has been canceled.

We truly apologize for the inconvenience.

March 3rd, 2020 – Industry 4.0 workshop
New approaches and opportunities towards zero-defect and smart manufacturing”

STREAM-0D is a European-wide project funded within the Horizon 2020 framework programme, which has the ambition to tackle one of the main challenges of the manufacturing industry: reaching a zero-defect production of automotive components through real-time simulation and data analysis.

The workshop, organized by STREAM-0D in collaboration with Wroclaw University of Science and Technology and the Manufuture ZDM sub-platform aims at deepening the concept of Zero-Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) and its applications to the automotive sector.

The event will uncover details of the STREAM-0D project, in which a ZDM approach has been applied to three different kinds of automotive production lines: brake boosters, tapered-roller bearings and rubber car sealings. Benefits gained by the industrial partners (the so-called end-users) of the projects will be highlighted as well as the possibility to apply such approach to other industrial fields.

The event will represent also an occasion to discuss the achievements of other EU-funded projects pertaining the ZDM cluster and the status of research and innovation initiatives funded by the EU, namely Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, the next research and innovation framework programme of the European Commission; new funding opportunities for industrial players in the Silesia region – and in Poland in general – will be therefore discussed.

TOPICS

Zero-Defect Manufacturing, Manufacturing of automotive components, Production automation, Horizon2020, Horizon Europe, new funding opportunities for industrial players.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The workshop is addressed to stakeholders, academics, students, managers, policy makers, associations, that are active in the fields of industry 4.0, innovation, smart manufacturing, automotive manufacturing and other production sectors.
