STREAM-0D exhibits at MECSPE 2018
With more than 52,000 visitors, the 18th edition confirmed MECSPE (www.mecspe.com/en/) as the reference trade fair for the manufacturing industry.
This edition was held in Parma (Italy), on 22-24 March 2018.
More than 2,200 companies have taken part as exhibitors to present their products and innovations, with a strong focus on the smart manufacturing and industry 4.0.
STREAM-0D participated as exhibitor in pavillon 6, stand G11:
three full days of meetings, presentations, interactions, with distribution of brochures and gadgets to the visitors, and interviews to key stakeholders and prospect end-users of the STREAM-0D solution.
Key activities have been the presentation “Smart Factory, Smart Choice” held by Alberto Ortega (ITAINNOVA) about the STREAM-0D project, as well as the interview about the project held by Paolo Satta (Day One), which has been broadcasted in the Italian national TV SKY Italia Channel.
During the trade, several networking activities have been conducted, especially with prospect end users in the plastic sector, aimed at collecting requirements for the final product and input for the market analysis.
By interacting with stakeholders, the main general feedback was related to the unprecedented innovation that STREAM-0D would bring to the manufacturing processes.
The direction of the STREAM-0D research has been confirmed by the rising interest for the use of Artificial Intelligence, real-time data analysis, and manufacturing smart decision pulled by predictive calculations (as confirmed by the Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and predictive manufacturing).
